HOW TO ENTER

1. Create a “You’re Golden” look on a doll head or person

  • If you’re using a model, have him/her sign the “You’re Golden Consent Form” provided by your school.

2. Take a picture of your creation and tag it on Instagram with the contest hashtag #PMTSgolden

  • Make sure your Instagram account is public for your photo to be entered into the contest.
3. Within 24-48 hours your entry will be live here on paulmitchell.edu/goldencontest!
  • When your entry goes live, find it, and encourage your friends, family, and social media followers to vote for you through your custom entry link.

WHO CAN ENTER

  • The contest is only for current students of Paul Mitchell Schools.
  • To be eligible to win, you must be 18 years or older.

The Grand Prize Winner is awarded a trip to Hollywood in July for a chance to work with the JPMS artistic team on an exclusive Paul Mitchell photo shoot!

College Prep Boy Fashion Show – April 12th 2015

FUNraising 2015 continues with our College Prep Boy Fashion Show. All event proceeds go towards our FUNraising 2015 campaign. The Future Professionals are working this year with our incredible Learning Leader Dallas to put this event together. Tickets can be purchased early through PayPal for $5 (here) or purchased the day of the event at the door.

The event starts at 4PM on April 12th at Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta.

Art of the Updo with Julie Epple and Jackie Justice – FUNRaising 2015

We are excited to offer “Art of the Updo Look and Learn” with Jackie Justice and Julie Epple!!! This class will focus on giving you  skills to take your hairdressing skills to the next level. Add value to your clients and be able to add a service to help build your career. Julie and Jackie will offer this one time class on March 30th from 9am until 12pm. Art of the Updo Look and Learn

Paul Mitchell is the first hair care company to publicly oppose animal testing in the beauty industry, and follow animal friendly JPPetsproductspolices at all times.

Paul Mitchell CEO and cofounder John Paul Dejoria made the decision to halt the sale of products in China after being informed the company would have to incorporate animal testing in order to continue selling products there.  Rather than being part of a market where animal testing is required, John Paul put sales in China on hold last year and has now told PETA’s US affiliate that Paul Mitchell will not sell products in that country in order to remain committed to the company’s cruelty-free policy.

Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta Announces NEW 3-Day Schedule!

With schedules tight and time in short supply, dreams can be pushed to the side!  Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta recognizes that not all Future Professionals can devote 5 days per week working towards in a new career in the hair and beauty industry.  With a lot of hard work and dedication, the Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta team has developed a new schedule to offer those students who still want to pursue their dreams while meeting the demands at home or work…or even BOTH!

Beginning on January 23rd we will be offering a new 3-day schedule.  Future Professionals will attend the cosmetology program on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am until 7:00pm for a total of 30 hours per week.  This schedule will still allow our Future Professionals to complete the program in about 13 months with good attendance!   We will still be offering our normal full-time schedule of Tuesday through Friday.  Apply now at http//:www.paulmitchellatlanta.edu.

While families were losing their homes to foreclosure, and businesses by the hundreds where closing up shop, an article by Athena Jones for CNN suggests the beauty industry is thriving.
