Coming up on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 seven members of our Design Team here at PMTS Atlanta, headed up by one of our new additions to the family, Cartez Washington, will be doing the hair and makeup for a fabulous fashion show. The Art Institute of Atlanta is putting on one of their annual shows over at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, and they have asked our fabulous students to pull together the ten looks to go with their students fashion designs. We have worked with them in the past and it’s always been amazing teamwork! We definitely look forward to working with them again in the future!
For the second year in a row Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta is hosting A Day of Beauty on May 3rd, 2010 from 10 am to 1 pm. Our students, as well as outside talent from local salons, will be providing services to special needs middle and high school students. The participants can choose from the following services: manicures, facial waxing, highlights, haircuts, chair massages, updos and makeovers; which are all free! Last year everyone had a blast and we know this year will be even greater!

Well everyone we did it! After fun-raising for 3 months Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta placed 17th nationwide! We managed to raise $16,769.04 which contributed to the $1.2 million raised for charity.
And since we did such a good job we get rewarded with a day of education with an industry icon which to be announced! I’m sure who ever we get will be inspirational to all of our Future Professionals!
Come and join Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta as we celebrate “A Taste of Italy” tonight. Part of our annual Fun-raising efforts the school throws a spaghetti dinner. Tickets are $12 at the door, and the fun gets started at 6:00 pm. Bring your friends and your appetite!
On Tuesday, April 13, 2010 Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta will be attending a seminar and book signing withWinn Claybaugh, Dean and Co-Founder of Paul Mitchell Schools, and George Morales from the Paul Mitchell Advanced Academy, at the Woodruff Arts Center.
Winn Claybaugh is the author of “Be Nice (or Else!)” and will be speaking about embracing the Be Nice culture, which helps increase staff morale, improve customer service, and increase profits.
George Morales joined the Paul Mitchell School network as a Partner Training Leader, Branding Specialist, and Long Hair Specialist after being an educator and platform artist for Aquage. He will be doing a look and learn demo on long hair to showcase his wonderful talents!
It is sure to be a wonderful opportunity and learning experience for all involved!
Join Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta on Saturday, April 9th with registration at 6:30 a.m. and the walk beginning at 7:30 a.m. for a walk from Centennial Olympic Park and ends at the school at 9 a.m. There is a $25 donation To help us raise money for the charities we are supporting this year.
We also have a Carnival running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with food, face painting and fun! The biggest draw is all of the students have been voting on dunking their favorite staff member by putting money in their assigned jars! We’re pretty excited to see who gets dunked!
So come and join us for an exciting and fun family day on Saturday April 9th!!
