National article from CNN.com – “If you are looking for an industry that’s thriving even during these tough times, look to the hair industry. It may be the closest thing to recession-proof.”

While families were losing their homes to foreclosure, and businesses by the hundreds where closing up shop, an article by Athena Jones for CNN suggests the beauty industry is thriving. According to census data nationwide, there were 18.6% more barbershops and 14.4% more beauty salons in 2009 than in 2007. Watch the compelling video and read the article at:
